1974 CORVETTE T-TOP COUPE, 4 SPEED, SECOND OWNER, A REAL HEAD TURNER, BEGS TO BE DRIVEN. This is a very well kept red on black T-Top coupe. It is a driver; vacations, weekends and to work on sunny days. It does turn heads. This car has unique features such as the front and rear "soft" body color bumpers a design that was changed in 1975. Also the 1974 was the last year for true dual exhaust; with no catalytic converters. Finished in a metal flake Red Sikens enamel w/clear coat, hand painted gold pin striping. The wheel rims are painted gold to match the striping. It has a well kept black vinyl interior with new rugs, console and seat backs. T-tops are tight, no leaks. Numbers matching drive train starting with original strong running L48 350 V8 w/ Holly carburetor, mild Crane cam, Crane electronic ignition kit, hi-energy coil, double roller timing chain and new exhaust system & mufflers. It has a 4 speed transmission w/good clutch, power steering and power brakes. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced as the original parts cracked with age. The car has never been in an accident. Newer parts include radiator and brackets, upper and lower A-arms w/Teflon bushings, hi-flow water pump and stainless sleeved brakes. The tires, T/A P255/60R15, are like new. Other up dated parts include: AM/FM radio w/cassette player and speakers. I have documentation of all parts that have been replaced since I have owned the car. Having been in the careful ownership of myself for over 28 years; my wife and I are only the second owners, this car has gone 80K actual miles since new. This Vette is fully functional and great looking, a great daily driver that runs and drives beautifully (it runs on 87 octane fuel) and is ready for your enjoyment. Iam listing this car for a friend. Lubed speedo and tach cables. 1989 Replaced motor mounts 2005 Replaced spark plug & coil wires. Repainted car Sikins red metallic. Rebuilt Holly carb., new spark plugs and had the heads overhauled, three angle valve job. Recored radiator. Relaced rear bumper straps. 1988 Replaced rear leaf spring. 2004 Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets. Replaced 8 track radio and installed new speakers. 2003 Replaced upper and lower front suspension components & front brake caliper. Replaced right inside pillar post molding. Replaced four tires and adjusted steering linkage. 1987 Repaired radiator. Replaced rear side marker light lense. Replaced rear tires. Replaced complete radiator support bracket. Replace water pump & top and bottom hoses. 1986 Replaced 4 brake calipers (Stainless valve sleeves). 2002 Replaced timing cover oil seal and repaired balancer sleeve. Also replaced ignition switch. Replaced speedo drive gear. 2001 Replaced battery Replaced shocks with KYB units and sway bar bushings. 2000 Replaced idler arm. 1985 Installed Crane cam, lifters, seals, timing gears and chain. Replaced oil pump and pan gasket. Replaced heat riser valve and gaskets. 1999 Replaced rear bumper cover. Replaced outer rear u-joint. 1998 Installed Crane electronic ignition kit and MSD coil. Replaced left door lock cylinder. 1997 Replaced front bumper cover. Replaced rear differential bushings. 1995 Repaired wiring harness (lights and seat belt lock). Replaced spark plug & coil wires. 1994 Replaced battery. Replaced both tail pipes. 1993 Replaced fuel pump. 1984 Installed Holly carb. and replaced water pump. Replaced both mufflers and hangers. Also shifter T handle reverse lock out. 1983 Replaced both mufflers.
