Here we have for the first time offer on Ebay, a truly unmolested 280SE 4.5 for sale. even though in Oregon now, it's originally from Newport Beach, California with only 3 owners in it's history. The paint is old but still nice & shiny. It's interior is all original & in almost perfect with good NON LEAKING headliner & non-sinking seats/Looks tight. The ONLY thing the interior needs, is a radio & the two horizontal piece that are located on the top of the rear door panels & have the hole for the locking (push down/pull up) knob right below the rear windows inside & that's because of the vinyl on them are cracked due to the California sun shining on them the way it was always parked on an uphill. The wood trims are all there with no blemishes perhaps needing newer varnish ONLY. Has working sunroof that moves freely with no leak. All rubbers & weather strippings are in good condition & the undercarriage is all original with no signs of damage nor patching. Nice DINGLESS Front chrome Grill/All chromes are perfect but JUST LITTLE surface rust pitting on the rear bumper(just started & it's shown in picture) on the bottom piece rear chrome bumper below the liscense plate area but the other two smaller bumpers above it are fine & has a small ding(not noticeable in picture) in each one of the two chome rear liscense plate light housings which are on each side of the liscence plate(both happen togheter backing up too far. All lights, gages, windows work fine, Good Tires, Good oregon tag, NEW fuel pump (Parts & Labor cost me almost $900 this past Christmas). This vehicle has been inspected by my mechanic at the time of replacing the fuel pump. This is a car that truly Runs, Drives & Handles GREAT. Unlike other collectors who photograph their cars in professionally lighted ways or Hollywood driveways, I did not try to duplicate it so what you see is what you get. A beautifull collector's car that will maintain as well as continually go up in value.
