Absolutely Stunning 1995 Mercedes Benz E300 Diesel For Sale!!!!   Just 75,925 Careful & Well Maintained Miles!!! Want to Achieve 30+MPG in An Affordable Luxury Automobile??  Why settle for a Jetta/Golf/Passat when you can have Mercedes quality and prestige for nearly the same price? This beautiful E300D was placed in service by its first owner on December 5, 1995 in Fountain Valley (Orange County), California.  Prior to my purchase of the car on April 13, 2010 it was owned by the general manager of Mercedes Benz of San Diego.  It was a California car from new until my purchase.   It has been meticulously maintained along the way as evidenced by the condition of the vehicle as well as by the 10 Mercedes Benz of San Diego service documents I have in my file.  Those documents are dated January 29, 2008 (45,975 miles) through October 28, 2009 (71,559 miles.)  The total spent during that time was $11,697.27! It was lucky for me that the car was advertised in the back yard of a close friend, and fellow car nut, who lives in La Jolla.  My friend volunteered to inspect and drive the car for me prior to my purchase.  He verified the condition, noting only two deficiencies:  The headliner had a slight sag and the material covering the map pockets on each front door had come unglued at the top edges.  He purchased a brand new headliner from MB of San Diego on my behalf and had it installed at Ocean Beach Boat and Auto Upholstery in San Diego, where the door pockets were also repaired.  These two items cost $782 total (not included in the $11,697.27 above.)  I then had the car delivered to me in Saint Louis via Intercity Lines. I have owned several hundred cars in my 54 years, many of which I drove less than 500 miles.  I have driven this car over 4,000 miles and have done nothing to it other than add fuel and have the oil and filter changed once (at Plaza Motors, an authorized MB dealer, on September 9 at 73,087.)  I have not driven the car in the midwest winter weather except on dry and "clean street" days.  I bought a 2003 Toyota Tacoma for the winter. A person would be hard-pressed to find anything to do to this car.  It starts, idles, accelerates, brakes, steers and performs flawlessly. I have not had a single drop of any fluid ***ever*** on my garage floor regardless of whether it is driven daily or sits for weeks.  I cannot fault the car cosmetically either except that the chrome on the front wheels is peeling in a couple of spots.  (I would not have chosen to chrome the wheels.)  And, you might find a half dozen or so minor paint nicks.  All the power options including the sunroof, cruise control, doors, seats, windows and antenna work as they should.  The A/C is ice cold.  There is no CD player. The paint color is #366, azure blue, and is so deep that it is hard to grade it less that 9.75 out of 10.  The interior is #175, parchment, and is MB Tex, virtually without a flaw.  There are no cracks in the dash and no sun-related wear.  Obviously, there is zero rust anywhere.
