Vehicle Detail
For Sale:1992 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Automatic with 116K original miles. Only changes to original car are mostly interior: 1. I replaced both the front & rear carpet with new Auto Custom Carpet with new floor mats all in black. 2. I replaced all worn window switches, bezels, and door arm rests. 3. I purchased a used set of factory Pony wheels to replace bent aftermarket wheels. 4. I purchased four new BFGoodrich 225/55ZR-16 tires. 5. I installed a JVC radio with CD player and two new kicker replacement speakers. 6. I replaced the metal strips that hold the lower ground effects on. 7. I replaced all six of the front headlights. 8. I replaced all the door and hatch weather stripping. 9. I replaced the fuel pump with a 155 liter model The engine and drive train are untouched; the previous owner’s record book looks as the car never missed a service. I did perform a minor tune up consisting of new e3 spark plugs, motorsport wires, cap, and rotor. The only rust is a small surface spot starting under the rear wing, otherwise car is rust free. The factory paint is worn off the front bumper cover and the car was keyed just behind the driver’s door. There are also numerous small dents here and there from normal wear and tear. There are a few items that still need looking into: 1. The power door locks stopped working. 2. The driver’s door needs new bushings. 3. Sunroof needs new weather stripping. 4. Fog lights need new bulbs. I purchased this car 12/28/2009 with the intention to restore for my wife. I started with the interior and never went any further. I was discouraged with several estimates to get the car repainted. This is a great car with allot of potential, as I am into this generation Mustang and it is getting harder to find a stock rust free example that has not been in any accidents or beat to death.
