Up for sale is my 1978 Datsun 280z. I'm selling the car because I need to get rid of some projects that I no longer have the time for. I drove the car daily for a few months while doing some work on it with little to no problems. I did replace the battery and battery terminals so they are brand new. Also, the car has brand new Fusible link covers. The original title said that the car had 24, 316 ACTUAL miles on it. I do not know if that is correct but the mileage on the car is now 33,350 rounded up. The car runs great with no knock or missing smooth all the way through the power band. The Fuel injection system works great with no problems and the car gets an average of 28mpg that city and highway driving. The 5 speed transmission responds great with no grinding or popping out of gears, no issues at all. The body of the car has the usual rust as most of these cars do, (floor pans, frame rails, etc) but the paint still looks on the vehicle. It has a header to custom dual side exit exhaust installed which sounds great with no exhaust fumes coming back into the vehicle which a lot of s30 cars had a problem with. The interior of the car is in okay shape it could definitely use some restoration. It has A/C but it does not work, but the heat does. This car would be great for a restoration project or a parts car. The car is sold "AS IS" no warranty. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is sold locally.
