1991 Volvo 740 Wagon 101k miles! Black Leather Sunroof Super clean NO RESERVE! Last bidder gets a great car. I am the second owner of this amazingly clean inside and out 1991 Volvo 740 Station Wagon. I bought it from the grandson of the original Dr. owner in Weston, MA. The car was purchased new at Portland Volvo and was dealer serviced all the way up to 80,000 with dealer stamps and signatures all in the complete set of books. The car is Silver with a perfect (no wear, no smoke, no holes) Black Leather interior with working heated seats. The car has 101,000 miles (driven approximately 5,000 miles a year!) The car has: - A/C works perfectly - Cruise Control works perfectly - Heat works perfectly - Blower fan works on all 5 speeds - Power windows and door locks (all working perfectly) - manual sunroof works perfectly no leaks - full leather interior in black leather (not charcoal grey true Black) - both front seats heated (work perfectly) - ABS brakes - Cruise Control (works perfectly) - Original books, keys, radio - Winter floor trays (black) - Factory Rear cargo area tray (black) - factory carpet mats in perfect unused condition (black) - rear cargo area tray black - rear cargo area rolling cover (RARE dealer option) - all headrest pads in place - original spare never used - original tool kit never used - PERFECT no sag headliner - Speedo and odometer work perfectly (my Mom has a 91 740 and her speedo is very erratic something to do with a sensor on the transmission) - Paint and body are in fantastic original condition (a few minor blemishes/scratches) PHOTOS - Click http://www.flickr.com/photos/42382224@N04/?saved=1 NEW! - 4 brand new this year (with less then 5000 miles Toyo Observe G2S 195/60/15 winter tires) - Complete brake job front and rear including rotors, calipers, pads and brake dust shields - New control arms -New Diehard Battery - All new drive belts - Trans fluid, radiator fluid changed - New T-Stat - Complete tune up at 94k (plugs, wires, all fluids changed) NEEDS! - exhaust system is due for replacement soon (I was able to get a sticker in December but it is probably going to need exhaust repair before it's next sticker) - The car is due for a timing belt and water pump replacement. (Volvo says every 50k the good news is the 2.3 Liter 8 Valve engines are non-interference engines so no catastrophic failures) - The overdrive can be flaky at times. This just started happening. I looked on the turbobricks forums and they suggest it is probably the O/D relay. It is very intermittent and really only occurs when the weather is very cold if at all. Once the car is warmed up it seems to go into overdrive just fine. Again this is only on very cold days. The reason I am selling? I just got a 1986 Mercedes W124 at a super price and my condo complex will only allow 2 parking spaces per unit. Sadly after putting over $4000. into this Volvo with every intention of keeping it forever, my wife will not give up her Honda so we can keep the Volvo and thus it has to go! :-( feel free to call or email me with questions.
