1981 Honda Gold Wing

Notice: I changed the color to blue in the listing, it is so dark that it looks black, in direct sunlight you can see the bluish color. This is a 1981 Honda Goldwing GL1100 with interstate travel bags. Has clear title. Comes with floor boards for driver and passenger, also has back rest for driver. You can see from pictures that it has crash bars and highway pegs/boards. Mileage to my knowledge is accurate, has been stored inside mostly uncovered, recently it has been stored outside covered. Some pitting on alluminum (very minor) there is minor rust on various areas of the chrome (new pics will show). There has been small repair done to one of the travel bags(upper rear on left side approximately 2 1/2"), and right side of fairing (pics of these also). Could use a new front tire I currently ride it the way it is. Decals/pinstriping are showing their age starting to peel. Seems to be original headlight some of the reflective stuff has come off inside of light. Windshield needs to be replaced I believe it has been modified, it seems awfully short. Air ride has been replaced with coilover spring shocks, not by me (No mechanical changes or otherwise have been done to bike since I have owned it) Battery should be replaced. Now the positives, I have really enjoyed riding this bike since I have owned it. It has a quiet smooth operation, some noise(rattle) when starting out uphill in first, have been assured that it is normal, but I am not an expert. Has cruise control for long trips. Speakers are installed I have never installed a radio so I don't know if they work. Gas mileage is probably typical for this model. Also has a tow hitch for small tow behind trailer. Rode it from parents house to mine to ensure proper opperation, so mileage has changed from 59699 to 59710. Also noticed small tear in seat on left side. (see pics) Last owner was an older gentleman who rode very minimally, sold it after a surgery, I have owned it since 2008 and have only ridden it a couple times a year in the summers, no long trips. Due to lack of use and the purchase of a new home it only seems fair that some one who can actually enjoy it should own it. So if you think you can see yourself on this vintage motorcycle or just like collecting cool old bikes, please bid on this one and give it a good home. Local pick up only. If you want it shipped you do all the work and find out cost prior to bidding, I am willing to drop it off within a reasonable distance(whithin 50 miles). Bike is sold "as is" <= this means ask questions before bidding, I will e-mail pics to those who request any details. Once the auction is over the only question I want to hear is "will you help load it on my truck?" I will cooperate with any shipper given heads up they are coming. Deposit of $250.00 is due within 24hr after end of auction, full payment within one week paypal, cash, or money order from verifiable source (this means I may call the bank to verify it was issued before releasing the bike). Bike can be stored up to 2 weeks after end of auction, later than that will require $5/day storage fee unless agreed upon prior to end of auction. Not trying to be hard here, just laying down some guidelines so we all know what's coming.
