Nearly finished 2004 Jeep Wrangler project. The frame has been spliced and still needs some tweaking for front grille alignment. Body, frame and running gear pieced together from two wrecked Wranglers. Drivetrain is 4cyl, 6spd from my son's 2006 Wrangler, run and work well, and have about 52,000 miles. What is needed to finish is to install fuel pump in gas tank (I have new pump and is included, install gas tank and tank skid plate, install bumpers (stock factory bumpers included), paint. What is missing / still needed are seats, stereo, better bumpers, and a little effort to finish putting it together. The only thing in the photos that is not included in the sale is the Toneau cover over the rear bed. Everything else is included. A "certificate of salvage" title is included from one of donor jeeps. In some states this will allow licensing upon inspection once complete, but i understand in others it will not. You will have to look into that for your location. It didn't matter to me as I was only going to use offroad for hunting. My son and I built this Jeep after first buying a wrecked 2004 Wrangler to get the 6cyl drivetrain to put in his 2006 Wrangler that had 4cyl. After making that swap, I was left with a good 2004 tub and a frame with a mangled right front frame horn and a perfectly good complete 2006 4cyl drivetrain. Before I got around to parting out what I had left over, I came across another wrecked Wrangler frame damaged in the rear and enough other parts that more or less made up a whole Jeep and so the project began. Working on it sporadically (my son is away at school most of the time), we got it this far. For Christmas my son got a new Camaro and I got his 2006 Jeep back. Not needing 2 Jeeps, and with a desire to move on to another project, this 2004 Jeep Wrangler (almost complete) project needs a new home. Buyer will need to pick up car with a trailer in the Houma, Louisiana area. Depending on destination I may consider delivering for a fee.
