Vehicle Detail
1966 Dodge Coronet Convertible NO RESERVE This is a rare find ! A nice Dodge Coronet convertible, 45 yrs young, in GREAT condition! Normally everything from floor pan to quarters would have to be replaced. Not this one! The only rust I could find (other than a little surface rust) was right behind both rear wheels. A very small hole! Look at the pictures. I found these because of a couple small bubbles in the paint so I bead blasted them to see the damage. It turned out to be just some small pin holes. All the sheet metal around them are very solid. Floor pans PERFECT, Trunk Area PERFECT, Front Fenders PERFECT, Under Door Sills PERFECT I pulled the chrome around the rear of the convertible top & found no rust! Not bad for a 45 yr old car! The car is from Bosie, ID. It has been stored within a heated Garage . The 1st owner purchased the car new in 1966 & sold to the 2nd owner in the mid-70’s, this owner had the car re-painted to the current color & stored it. Will need paint work as this color is 35 yrs old. The original color of the car was silver verified by the fender tag. So all things considered, this is a really nice car & has been well taken care of over the years! Yes, these are Baby Moons with chrome wheels that just goes to show how nice this car really is! It has never been passed around ! The convertible top & cover is original to the car with no rips or tears & is in working condtion. The stitching for the zipper (rear window) in the right upper corner is coming loose. You would be hard-pressed to find a car like this in its original condition. · Engine is a 318, automatic · Original AM Radio not in working condition · Heater in working condtion · Transmission has some seepage · Windshield Wipers & gauges are in working condition Look at the picture of the side mirror it has the original Dodge emblem (hard to find) Well, I’ve ranted & raved about this Great Car & now it’s time to sell it !Thanks for looking & make sure to look at the pictures p.s. The dash is cracked & I do have an original replacement purchased previously. It’s in excellent shape but will need to be dyed Black.
