Up for auction here is a 1979 Ford Bronco xlt Ranger edition with a good running 351. The motor does not smoke, knock or make any noises and seems to be very strong. It has a manual 4 speed, clutch seems to be good, all gears work, no grinding in the transmisson are any sort. Transfer case works good. I have locked the hubs and put it in 4 wheel drive and the 4 wheel drive system works very well. The body seems to be really straight, except for a couple of minor scraps and bumps for being 31 years old. There is a small mark on the front passenger fender as you will see in the photos. There are a couple blisters starting in the tailgate as you will also see in the photos. It does have other small dents and dings for being as old as it is. This is a very solid vehicle. 0 rust on frame, 0 rust on floor pans, 0 rust on the rocker panels, 0 rust in wheel well lips. You will see in the photos this is a very solid vehicle. This would make a great everyday driver or winter vehicle. The paint is not perfect on this vehicle but if someone took the time to wash, wax and buff it. Bumpers seem to be really straight. Grill is complete and not broken but seems to be loose missing some screws. Dash pad has no cracks. Windshield wipers, turn signals, headlights all seem to work good. The electric rear window still works. The removable shell has sliding glass windows. This truck does have some rare options. It is a tilt steering column but the tilt is broken. Front seat does have a tear in it and would have to put it in poor condition. The backseat has no rips or tears. This would be a perfect project for someone to restore.
