1972 Chevy Pickup This is a consignment sale. This truck was featured at the SEMA Car Show in Las Vegas in 2005. VERY cool truck! It is a 1972 model with a 1968 front end. It sits very nice with a well done bag system on it. The bed is tubbed to accommodate the range of motion. You can see in one of the videos as I raise and lower the truck with the airbag system. It's installed well with a tank on the left side and compressor on the right side. The entire system is controlled inside by a nice switch panel complete with pressure gauges- you can see details of the system in the photos as well. Has a good looking set of American Racing wheels with newer tires on it. Paint is a custom blue and looks great. It has airbrushed ghost flames on the left side, under the hood, and a nice touch on the inside door panel. These flames are tasteful and very well done- definitely shows a lot of talent! The bed is completed with a blue Rhino Lining that looks good- only a couple bad spots on it that I tried to photo well. The door handles on both sides have been shaved and a set of door poppers installed underneath and behind where the bottom of the door seals (see video). Under the hood is a 454 Big Block. It has a great sound to it with a nice cam and exhaust. Also has a chrome air filter cover, color matched and airbrushed covers, and several other great looking aftermarket and chrome parts. Also includes a bed-mounted Optima battery that was purchased recently. Under the hood is finished out as nicely as the outside! Truck features a Turbo 400 transmission and 67 Camaro rear end, all linked up to a Hurst Speed Shifter. This is a very smooth shifting truck. Inside the cab is a new blue and gray bench seat with folding armrest. Door panels are finished nicely with matching flames on the driver's side. The driver's side armrest/ grab handle on the door needs to be remounted and the window crank needs to be fixed. There are also Sony speakers in each door and a working cd player. Heater controls remain in the cab, but there is no heat or a/c. Also, you'll see a full set of great looking Pro-Comp Auto Meter gauges and a nice steering wheel, as well as the instruments to control the suspension and the Hurst Speed Shifter. This truck also has a great set of 4 wheel disc brakes. It shows, goes, and whoa's very well! Also, the Nitrous bottle is just for show! It's never been hooked up and has no hardware for it under the hood! The engine runs tight and smooth, this truck has been treated well- not flogged on or driven hard. Mileage is unknown, but you can tell everything was rebuilt only a couple years ago. The owner and I both think the odometer's miles represent the miles since the rebuild. There are no windshield wipers on this truck- the spots where they mount are dressed with chrome covers. All the glass and deals look good. Take a good look and consider this truck!
