I am the third owner, the original owner sold this van to his mechanic who kept it stored for a year or so in his garage. The original owner kept meticulous records on every single thing that had ever been done on the vehicle. I have tried to do the same. The van has pretty much everything that was available on Westys, including a refrigerator,sink, and stove, and they all work well. I also have the original issue childrens hammock, the cover curtain for the front windshield, and the mesh screen that attaches to the rear opening.The original tables are also included. All of the interior fabric is in great shape. I had the front seats recovered a year ago. The top has no holes in it and has been scotch guarded every year. The spare tire has no wear on it and a bike carrier is also included with the van. Plates and utentsils purchased from Go Westy are included as well as a camp picnic table, a mat, a ceramic disc heater and an air conditioner. The Samba sells a neat chaise that enables a small window unit air conditioner to be attached. Included also are all of the hoses and electrical hookups. The motor is original as are the miles. Like nearly every other older VW that I have ever seen it weeps alittle oil. The tires are in great shape. The air conditoner was disconnected when I purchased the van and I have never replaced the belt since I have owned the van. There are a few small rust spots on the van which I have tried to photograph. It's not perfect but you'll be hard pressed to find a van of this age in better shape.
