Up for sale is a 2005 SV 650 in excellent condition with NO RESERVE. I bought the bike from a friend in anticipation that my wife was ready to go back to riding after having children. I was wrong she doesn't want anything to do with bikes right now. Turns out I got to have quite a bit of fun on the bike as it is extremely nimble and light in the mountains. The suspension upgrades sure seem to help with the confidence when leaned over into corners, this bike flat out handles, holds a line and turns excellent! This bike has four very minor issues (see photos of all) and all four are cosmetic: 1. Small ding on the left side of gas tank. 2. Minor rash on headlight. 3. Minor cosmetic damage to front of exhaust muffler. 4. Rims have normal nicks/scratches from tire changes All four of these cosmetic issues are minor and not eyes sores unless pointed out. The tank and the headlight happened while teaching a friend to ride and she dropped the bike in the parking lot. I have no idea what happened to the exhaust. Mechanically the bike has no problems and runs excellent. Everything works the first time, there are no issues, and she starts immediately, idles great and shifts smoothly. The bike tracks straight and is very responsive to input. This bike was taken care of very well by my friend prior to me purchasing. No maintenance ever missed and the bike currently has fresh oil with about 1000 miles since the last oil change. Upgrades to the bike include the following: 1. M4 Carbon Exhaust 2. OEM Painted To Match Rear Cowl The Owners Manual is included with the sale of the bike including the OEM tool kit, paperwork for the Race Tech upgrades, and yellow box. The Oregon title on this bike is free, clear, in my possession and ready to transfer into your name in any state in the US except California. If you live in California you may have difficulty if you plan to register in California. As you know to bring an out of state vehicle into California it must be a certain age and have over 7500 miles on the odometer. My friend bought the bike out of state with 5000 miles on the bike and rode it until it had over 7500 miles. He went to the CA DMV to complete the registration and was asked how many miles did the bike have when he purchased the vehicle, he was honest and told them 5000 and that it currently had over 7500. They red flagged the bike in the system and to my knowledge it can not be registered in California.
