Up for sale is an original California black plated 1966 Convertible. This car went thru a pan off restoration and is 95% complete. The top and the carpet need to be installed and come with the car. The top is a gray stayfast canvas top, and the the carpets are TMI loop style. No expense spared on this resto. All the chrome was replated using the original parts that came with the car. The pan has been powder coated glossy black. The axles and transmission have been cleaned and painted. The original 1300 was rebuilt by a local VW shop. New piston/cylinder kit. New heads with TRW valves. Runs strong. New 12V starter/Alternator. New TMI seat covers and door panels. Original 1966 wheels. New gas tank. New brakes. New brake lines and hoses. New gas line. New cables. New clutch. EMPI steering wheel. All new West Coast Metric seals. New windshield. New battery. Buyer responsible for transport. Payment within 7 days of auction end.
