1993 Audi 100 S Premium Cold Weather Automatic
This is a hard to find Audi 100s with all the options including heated leather seats, power drivers and passenger seat, power sunroof, headlight washers, AM/FM/CD stereo, automatic transmission and much more. This car is in good shape for the year and mileage. It was recently traded at our dealership and is ready for you to drive. It does have a few minor cosmetic issues which I will explain in the rest of this description. This is a no reserve auction which means that this car will sell to the highest bidder regardless of the price. Please do not bid if you do not intend to purchase.
History
This is a two owner vehicle that was manufactured in December of 1992 and first registered in September of 1993. It changed hands once in 2001 with 55,000 miles on it. In the last ten years it has been driven 85,000 miles. It has been stored in a garage for most of its life. This vehicle has been well maintained by the previous owners. It has a clear title history with no accident history or other problems whatsoever.
Mechanical
This Audi is in pretty good condition mechanically especially considering the age and mileage. The engine runs smooth and strong. The transmission shifts smooth and crisp with no slipping or hesitation. The tires are basically new with 90% tread left. The brakes are nearly new on the front and on the rear and stop this car firmly without pulling or vibration. The air conditioning works well and blows cold. The exhaust system doesn't have any leaks and the steering and suspension are tight. All the lights, horn, and wipers work well. This car does have some minor oil seepage as might be expected on a car of this age. Also the idle speed seemed to be a bit erratic at times, but recently it seems to be idling much smoother. I am sure it could use a good tune up and service. We did change the oil and filter. The coolant temperature gauge doesn't seem to work quite right but all the other gauges are working properly and there are no check engine lights or other warning lights illuminated. The oil pressure is very good and the car starts and runs fine. This car has also been Virginia State inspected by an independent mechanic. It is ready to drive anywhere.
Exterior
The exterior of this car is pretty straight. It is finished in Crystal Silver Metallic Paint. There are some fairly minor cosmetic imperfections. The driver side mirror has a piece broken off the housing but the mirror itself works fine.(see pictures) The passenger side corner of the front bumper has some scuffs(see pictures)and the drivers side corner of the rear bumper has a scuff(see picture), the right rear door has been scraped below the molding(see pictures) and there is a ding in the right rear door right beside the glass. The right front fender has some small rust bubbles starting right at the bottom(see picture) Also, the front end of this car has been repainted at some point, but the rear paint and the roof is original. The parts that haven't been repainted are showing some clear coat fading and cracking(see pictures). The wheels are in good shape as well but are missing the center caps. I would rate the exterior a 6 out 10
Interior
The interior of this car is very nice as well. The seats and carpet are clean and free of stains. There is no smoke or other offensive odors but there are a couple small burn marks in the headliner right above the drivers door. The front seats do show just a little bit of wear but it is in above average condition for a car with this age and mileage. Everything works like it should as far as I know. All the power features seem to work. The only thing really to mention is that the headliner is sagging in the back and there is a clip holding up the overhead console(see picture)This car comes with only one key but it does have the factory floor mats along with the spare tire and tools. The trunk is clean and dry. I would rate the interior an 8 out of 10.
