1970 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser with 123k miles w/ on the floor 4 speed manual transmission. Bought in 2006 and drove daily for couple years in Seattle. The high points are strong 2F engine, brand new tires on custom rims, recovered bench seats, custom roll bar and bikini top, newer carpet, lot's of orginal equipment, includes doors and hardtop, and exempt to SMOG with current California plates. Beach ready with minimalist set up with ALL heating, wipers, wiring, etc stripped execpt for engine and lights wiring only. The cons are will need brake repair in short term as they require double pump to stop, good amount of rust in left rear removed (prior to me buying) and covered with diamond plate, needs new a throttle cable, and the pictures show what it can look like with a new paint job (flat black paint currently). In general the FJ40 is solid but with a large extent of orginal parts, needs to start of a partial or full refurbishment. Hate to let go but recently moved to California and no room or time complete a refurburishment.
