Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1981 Jeep Scrambler. This was a project car of mine and a daily driver for several years. It's been getting less and less use as time goes by and it seems time for it to go. The car runs great and starts every time. I've had various work done on the car over the years, the big things include: -Rebuilt transmission and transfer case - reupholstered interior -rebuilt rear diff. - frame work - custom dual exhaust with headers (sounds great!) I have not done much body work on the car and it's got standard rust for a Jeep it's age in pretty standard places. Most of the car is still solid, the rear panels and wheel wells are the worst. This car was near a building fire a while back and luckily nothing but the soft top was damaged. The top still fits okay, but is melted on the passenger side in places you can see in the photos. Also the Jeep will need a new set of tires very soon or before any serious driving. Buyer is responsible for shipping of the vehicle, I will work with you to make that as smooth as possible. All in all, this is a great car that I have loved for many years. I want to see it go to a good place. Happy bidding and please let me know if you have any questions! Just wanted to clarify: The car is a 4spd manual and the work that was done on the frame involved replacing rusted or weak spots with new metal. Happy bidding, hope this doesn't look too confusing now.
