1950 Chevrolet 3600 series pickup truck - (old farm truck) Clear title, bought at an abandon vehicle auction in 2005 (owned by a widow, but title couldn't be found), I bought and had vehicle officially titled in New Mexico I purchased this truck 6 yrs ago but moved out-of-state and the truck has been parked at a friend's body shop for about 4 yrs. I'm not sure the actual mileage and the mileage listed here is off the title. I had not driven the truck very long prior to storage. Straight 6 cylinder motor (I believe previous owner replaced original motor in 1970's), 4 speed manual transmission, converted from 6V to 12V. I believe the truck has lived most of it's life in a dry climate (New Mexico) and the person I bought the truck from (the widow) said it was originally from Roswell, New Mexico. I believe the original color was dark green and someone painted it to yellow with brown fenders. The bed has an overlay steel bed welded over the original oak bed. There is a dent in the passanger side front fender and a crease in the panel between the passenger door and the front fender. There is some rust over the passenger rear fender (see pictures) and I was told the tail gate should be replaced. The external cab is in good shape with no external dents. The interior is in reasonable condition, but the seat needs to be reupholstered. I've tried to include representative pictures for a potential buyer to assess this vehicle's condition. The truck has been started and moved at the storage facility, but I was told one of the front wheels will "lock-up". I'm not sure if the brake is locking (?) Has the original split rim wheels and half-moon hub caps. This is a nice restoration project with a lot of potential.
