Up for bid today is a "two for the price of one" deal. First we have a 1958 Apache 1/2 ton shortbed pickup. It is all complete except for the tailgate (which i never had). As you can see this is an all original truck. I've had it for 12 years, with big hopes and grand dreams.....but the reality of life kicked in. I never really got off the ground with it. Now it's your turn to make this baby YOUR dream. It has a 6cyl engine with straight drive. It turns freely by hand, but the starter appears to be dead. It probably wont take you too much trouble to get it going again. I have the clear title, and a few front sheetmetal pieces that arent pictured. Also included in the auction is a second truck!!! A 1957 Chevy 1/2 ton shortbed . It is in pieces as the pictures show. As you can see all the front sheetmetal on the '57 is 200 times better the front sheetmetal on the '58. The idea was to take all the good parts from one and replace all the bad parts of the other, as they are all interchangeable. (55-59 structure is all the same)-hoods, fenders and grilles changed through the years. but everything will fit. I also have another 6cyl engine from a '55 (same as other years). I have no idea what condition it's in. It's been wrapped up in a tarp for many years. I've got more pix, but Ebay limited me to only 24.
