This is a 1969 International Scout I bought off of a neighbor 9 years ago. He had purchased it several years before on my Grandfather's retirement sale. Both men are long gone now. My grandfather had purchased it years ago in very nice condition with 40,000 miles on it. He pulled it behind his new motorhome to the local lake. The next owner used it for fencing and odd jobs and it was never inside. I was driving it about three years ago when it quit pulling itself. Engine was running fine, it just quit moving. That is how you are buying it, and you will buy it cheap. Glass including windshield is good. Unit is very straight. Exterior rust is as shown on lower cab rockers. All floors have rust issues. Just your basic old Scout. I was always told it was a 196 slant 4, so I am going with that. All a/c, cruise, power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt wheel, stereo work as delivered from factory(don't call me on these options, I can't fix stupid). Sets on 4 matching ancient half tread Michelins. Includes heavy-duty tow bar and rear hitch. I purchased this with the intent of restoring it, but I no longer see that happening. I mean, when is the last time your saw an original Scout without seat covers and with original dash pad? We are Dodson Motors, Inc.; a licensed and bonded Nebraska vehicle and parts dealer.
