You are bidding on one 1998 Custom Ford Ranger pick up. This was a father son project about two years ago. He has always been into the 50s style cars and trucks. This was a truck I had for commuting to and from work. I changed jobs to something closer to home, so I didnt use it too much. My son was coming to the age of driving and he wanted something different, so here is what he came up with. As you can see the color is definantly from the 50s, the main body is factory ford white, the mint green is a custom mix(I have xtra), this is a color and clear type paint. He added the roll pan for that clean look along with the old style dodge rims with bullet type lugnuts. Mechanicaly and body the truck is in very good condition, the following has been done. There is new front rotors and brakes, new lowered Roush coil springs(about 5") sway bar links,new starter,battery,altenator,serpintine belt and idler,new cat back dual exhaust(muffler looks like a flowmaster) but it does not sound like a honda, new back brakes,all 4 shocks, new rear springs with new flip over shackle kits(about 5"), new tonneu cover, new stereo(sounds great),4 new tires, Rear 255/60/15 Fronts 215/65/15.The engine is a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder and does not use any oil between changes, trany was replaced with a jasper unit auto w/od. The plan was to find a wrecked Mustang GT, or a Crown Vic police car and put the drive line in it, what a little screamer you would have, I checked the rear its got 410s with a posi tag, I was told its the same guts as a GT. But he wants a lifted 4 wheel drive now. We drive this truck everyday, its never been a problem. Thats all the good, the only bad that it has is high miles 245,xxx, on the bottom of both cab corners there is some paint bubbleing, if some this sells for the buy it now I will fix those spots, I work in a autobody collision/resto shop.
