It's a 327 Double Hump Heads. Car and owner live south of Tampa in Florida's west coast city of Ellenton. A $ 500.00 deposit is due within 3 days of winning the bid and must be paid on Ebay. The balance we can work out after I receive the deposit. For sale is my Black Classic 1966 Chevy Impala Convertible. The miles read 37,579 but I'm sure that is not correct. If you don't have the funds and will not put deposit in by required time don't bother bidding. The 327 Original matching number engine looks and runs good for it's age and is a daily driver for me. Note: I do drive this car daily so this milage is based on todays number. Convertible top goes up and down with a touch of a button and is in good shape. Body, bumpers and paint need tlc but as you can see are fine AS IS. Gas gauge does not work but I keep it full so it's never an issue to me. I think it just needs a new sending unit since car is old. The stereo is nothing to brag about but it works and has a cassette player not CD. This car as you can see is beautiful and could be used for many years "As Is" or you could have it restored to it's Maximum Collectors Value. Car is being sold AS IS. Car has had previous passenger side rear end damage and was repaired by previous owner though in my opinion they could have done a much better job. Car was inspected underneath by local restoration shop and was found to be in good shape, I was told it's a very nice car to restore. Weather stripping, side mirrors, gauges, glove box spring and visors may be first on your list to replace. I'm o.k. with all noted as is but wanted to mention it. The drivers side interior door and back side panels are in the same shape as one in photo. Shifter works by pull up and then front and back method. This is NOT an SS Impala even though some emblems show SS. There are no leaks under car.
