Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is this beautiful 1992 Notchback in unbelievable condition with unbelievable power upgrades. This super sleeper has had it's 5.0 removed and replaced with a Ford Racing Sportsman 351 Windsor block stroked out to 377 (6.2L) and blown with a Vortech T-trim supercharger. The car has currently has 526hp and 543ft/lb of torque. The block and engine internals are rated to 1000hp and the Vortech can push it all the way up to 850 with just a tune. I have it tuned down in the name of sanity. Please note the scanned dyno sheet clearly stating "very conservative tune." In addition, the K-member has been lowered so the stock hood could be maintained without a cowl. To add to the sleepiness of this vehicle the interior hasn't been modified or drilled anywhere for big tacky gauges. Interior is RARE black and in excellent shape. All speakers have been replaced with Infinity Kappa and are driven by dual amps located in the trunk along with the relocated battery. Putting power to the ground is a Tremec TKO 600 churning out torque through Mickey Thompson Radials stuck to the ground with coilover suspension on all four corners. Rounding out the suspension is a performance front end and subframe connectors. I have over $34,000 in receipts from the work that's been put into this monster and it was all done right. Only 88,000 mi on the body and 6000 mi on the current motor. the body is straight as can be and the paint is awesome. Here's a list of some of the equipment installed: Ford Motor Sports Sportsman 351 Roller cam (no lash adjustment) GT40 intake Victor Jr. heads MSD 6AL ignition MSD TFI distributor Vortech fuel rails 255lph aircraft grade fuel pump Vortech T-trim supercharger 75mm throttle body 75mm mass air meter 42lb fuel injectors Stroke 3.850 x 6.125 rod length BBK full length headers Offroad X-pipe Flowmasters Aluminum race radiator New stage 3 clutch New aluminum flywheel New head lights and tail lights New oxygen sensor New 160 degree thermostat New electric fans New 130 amp alternator And on and on... Here are a couple videos made by the previous owner (with awful audio quality, I might try and make a couple drive-by videos with better sound): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Uv08HZNWA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxeStFw3m4o This is a serious car for serious car people, turnkey ready for a weekend blast or getting all the attention at the drag strip. It doesn't sound like a normal V-8, people always ask what's under the hood because it sounds serious. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to local listing. $1000 non refundable down payment due within 24 hours of auction end. Shipping is entirely up to the winning bidder and the vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of auction end or a storage fee of $20 per day will be incurred. I have had several vehicles won on ebay shipped by the ebay recommended shipping firms with zero incident thus far. Happy bidding!!! On Feb-28-11 at 16:06:30 PST, seller added the following information: Due to many many repeat questions I'll address them all here: -Unfortunately I do believe the brakes are stock, but they do work well considering. -Heat does not work and A/C has been removed for weight and power savings, but the fan is still working and that's the difficult part to install. -Only known issues are two spots in the paint, on the rear edge of the hood and in the gas filler door, where for some reason the job just didn't get done. Pictures are in the gallery, please ignore the oak pollen, it's unavoidable this time of year. One other "issue" is the e-brake is not hooked up. Also, the airbag light is blinking a code; I haven't looked into it. -Engine management is an Accel DFI computer. -I'm pretty sure it's got a factory 8.8 rear end but it handles the power well, I've had no hiccups from the chunk at all. -Wheels are aftermarket 17" ponies, not factory 16" and it's got 4-lug hubs -I was planning on doing a couple videos today but it had to rain didn't it? They are coming, I promise. Happy bidding!!! On Feb-28-11 at 16:11:11 PST, seller added the following information: Well, I ran out of picture space so the fuel door can't be shown, but the hood is the worst spot of the two and it's not very noticeable. And yes, the hood was once red, but the rest of the car was factory black before it was resprayed with the high gloss paint, as indicated by the engine bay.
