Vehicle Detail
For auction with no reserve a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 auto on floor, bucket seat, air grabber, post car The very best thing about this car is how complete it is. The car is a project. I bought it from a guy that was passing through town moving and ran out of money. I delt a lot with Mopars a few years back and eveyone in town sicked him on me. I gave him enough money to get him moved and the starting bid will clear me. The only things that I can find missing is one plastic arm rest bazel in rear, both sill plates, and drivers front kick panel, Plastic steering column cover. The radio and steering wheel are after market. The car appears to have been ( Not Restored ) but rebuilt body wise some years back as the car was originally a green color. The front fenders, trunk lid and hood all apear to be rust free, other than a little surface rust in spots. The doors have slight bubbling at back bottom corners. (( It apears that all these parts may have been swapped out when the car was redone. The shell of the car is rusty in the bottom, all four frame rails are bad, all floors have holes and are also bad. (((( I RECOMMEND A NEW SHELL ))) but if you like bringing them back to life there is a front lower floor-frame half offered with this auction, also one after market rear frame rail and drivers side floor pan. I turned the 383 back and forth by the harmonic ballencer it is not stuck, I have not tried to start or drive the car. The air grabber system also moves freely. It does have the Tic Toc Tac. The seat slides are in nice condition with only some surface rust. The bumpers are not bent but will need recromed for show, they are not pealing just stained and cloudy. All glass is very nice. The headliner has a couple of small holes, otherwise intact. The grill has a couple of small cracks but very useable as is most of the stainless trim. The rearend is an 8-3/4 I have not checked to see if it is a sure grip or determine ratio. I can send more pictures of any specific areas on the car if you need. Or answer questions to my best ability. Please dont wait until the last day to ask. I will say in my opinion the car is NOT as nice as the pictures show, but VERY well worth purchasing if you are rebuilding a Roadrunner or want to restore a Roadrunner. A rebuilt Roadrunner is still worth twice as much as a rebuilt satellite, but they both cost the same to rebuild. I do have a clear title in hand, VIN and trunk numbers match, no radiator support numbers and no fander tag and no build sheet. I do require a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit through paypal within 72 hours of auction end and the remainder within 7 days of auction end via money order or cashiers check or bank wire. I will help load the car on your trailor or transporters trailor, but the cost of transport and all arrangements must be made by the buyer. Also the car can only be stored for 90 days for free after that there will be a storage fee assessed. I have located a 1970 Satellite shell that may be purchased by winning bidder if intrested. It has a soft trunk and the very lower rear quarters need replaced, otherwise very nice shell. Floors are still covered with factory paint.
