This car is just as it left the Pontiac factory in 1968! This goat is in an excellent shape. Starts right away and exhaust is clear at all times. Engine sounds perfect and runs beautifully. Hydramatic trany shifts like new. Reliable brakes, no pulling. Good alignment as well. Rust free. no cover-ups. Vinyl convertible top in new condition. Superior paint job without swirl marks or other flaws. Very, very clean car. Recent jobs: - new master cylinder and brake fluid change - transmission overhaul (a year ago) - trunk original gray paint inside - new hood insulation pad Things that don't work: - electric clock - radio - hood tachometer (wiring is ok, the unit circuit board failed, just a week ago – simple replacement) Everything else in the car works! One beauty flaw, though: - inside door panels have minor stains on the upper side. This car is nearly showroom condition and equipped as it left the Pontiac Factory in Baltimore, MD. The 68 GTO introduced a new 112 in wheelbase with 60 inch wide-track and distinctive styling with a body-color matching Endura front bumper. Only 5,091 GTO convertibles were produced in 1968. This is one of the finest remaining examples.
