For auction, a beautifully restored 1981 black and gold Trans Am. All original with matching numbers. 4 speed transmission with rare Hurst shifter, 305 Chevy V-8 motor. This car has everything! Competely restored interior with all new vinyl seat covers, carpet, header, rear dash cover, custom sound system and custom floor mats. The trunk has also been painted and re-carpeted. The car has new brakes and master cylinder, new cooling system, custom dual exhaust with chrome tips, traction bars and anti-sway bar, rear air shocks, snowflake wheels with custom paint, original t-tops and covers for storage. Original motor runs great! The only thing missing is the A/C. The body is in great condition with no dents or dings. This car has been well loved. There were only 980 of this particular model made in 1981. It has won many car show awards and would be a great collector car. It also runs so well, it is perfect to drive. This vehicle became an antique this year as it just turned thirty years old. It has been re-painted in it's past, but not since I have owned it. The windshield wipers and the speedometer do not work at the present time. Seller has the option to end this auction at any time. Yes the motor is a 305. I have a copy of the window sticker from the original dealer of the car. The A/C parts are loose from the vehicle, but they are all there as far as I can tell.
