This auction is for a 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine. Only 1095 factory built of these! The car is in restorable condition. However, it looks better in the pictures than it is at a closer look. I bought this limo to do a frame-off restoration. Since we are leaving country, I have to let it go. I did pull off all exterior chrome-parts (all bubble wrapped and packed - was intending to get it rechromed). THE GOOD AND THE BAD... The good things: engine starts and runs (needs tune-up and carb rebuild) transmission shifts into gears brakes work drivable condition, but not for road-trips (seel "cons" below) lights and turn signals work power front seat works power windows work slowly - need TLC mostly complete good frame Stainless steel parts and trims mostly in good condition The chrome parts have no rust-holes. Some surface rust and peeling (would recommend rechroming). The main part of the body seams to be in mostly rust-free condition. Some address for parts-sources available (e.g. doors) Known problem areas (no guarantee for completness of listed problem areas): Rust on all Doors (at bottom and lower inside) - holes Rust on front floor-pans - holes Rust on rear floor pans - approx. 3" in from rocker panels Rost on inner rocker panels at some parts Rust on rear corners of body behind rear seat letter "F" from Fleetwood on trunk missing Front Fender Emblems missing Interior needs to be redone completely (see pictures) wipers don't work, but all there heater system does not work, but is there horn does not work engine not original (number not matching) Original paint code 14 (cascade grey) Shipping / Transport: Shipping or transport must be arranged by the buyer, and we do not have anyone to recommend. The limo is 20 feet long - a regular U-haul car trailer will NOT work.
