Hi, Up for sale is a 94 Montero. The body of this Montero is in unbeleivable condition !!! No rust on the doors, the fenders, quarter panels, pretty much a rust free vechicle. The guy I bought it from did all of the camo, did a execellent job too ! It is white under it all, he never sanded it either, so you could remove the camo fairly easy. However the engine has some problems. I recently (less than 500 miles ago) replaced the water pump, timing belt, all timing belt pulleys, belts, did a tune up. If you know anything about these engines you know what it entitles to do a tune-up. Removing the intake so you can get to the spark plugs. But, my son was driving this and did NOT check the oil, and ran it low. So, what happened was that it locked up one of the cams on the head. The bottom end still moves, but you would probably have to remove the heads to fix the problem. This truck ran great before this happened. It has all the options. It has a locking differential which is GREAT it is almost impossible to get this thing stuck. You can see in the pics that the drivers door trim is off, thats because the window motor went out 2 days before the engine problems. But, I had already ordered the new motor, so a new window motor goes with the truck. Also, in the pics you can see all new hardware to rebuild the front end, ball joints, steering rods, etc. This was all from Napa, not CHEAP aftermarket crap. Which I was planning on putting on in the spring. This has the 3.5 DOHC the biggest and most powerful engine you could get for this truck. Basically the same engine as the Diamante, and 3000 GT. I have checked and you can use the Diamante engine all you have to do is change the intake, I don't know about the 3000 GT. If you have an engine or parts you can get a great truck running cheap. Or, if you always wanted one of these you can find any part you want on Ebay to fix this !!! Please email with any questions. I live in Central IL., about 100 miles south of Chicago. The front tires in the pics do NOT go with the truck, I changed out the front tires, they are the same tires that are on the back. They hold air and have a little tread, but would need replaced after you fix it.
