1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS 25th Anniversary Edition with T-Tops Up for bid is a stunning 25th Anniversary 1992 Camaro RS in Arctic White and Flame Red Cloth interior ordered with the rare T-Top option. This Camaro has just under 50,000 original miles on it and it runs and drives excellently. Equipped from the factory with the 5.0 Liter TBI V8 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, air-conditioning, am/fm/cassette stereo, power steering, brakes, windows and door locks, cruise-control, cast aluminum wheels, sport steering wheel, and more. From a visual inspection, the vehicle appears to be unmolested and factory original with the exception of the tires, alternator, a new exhaust muffler and tail pipe, water pump, and radiator and is believed to have had the same owner since 1995 until my friend purchased it at an estate auction last year. It obviously has been well-maintained and cared for as evidenced by the way the car runs and drives and by the overall condition of the vehicle. Except for a few minor cosmetic flaws (some peeling of the clear coat on the hood stripes, a very small dimple in the driver's fender and several small chips and scratches in the paint as seen in the photos), the body is in near mint condition. Likewise, with the exception of a small rip in the driver's seat cushion and a small separation in the driver seat back fabric, the interior would also be in near mint condition after a light cleaning of the rear seats. So far, I have discovered that there were a total of 70,007 Camaros produced in 1992, of which 60,994 were RS (Rally Sport) Camaro coupes. All 1992 Camaros were considered 25th Anniversary editions and were identified as such with the 25th Anniversary emblem on the glove box however only 8,197 were built with the "Z03" Heritage Edition option package which this Camaro has as evidenced by the "Z03" on the RPO sticker. The Heritage package included body colored grille and wheel spokes, special hood & trunk lid stripes, black headlight pockets, and a unique 25th Anniversary aluminum badge on the truck lid to set it apart from the other 25th Anniversary Camaros. (The grille on this Camaro was originally white until it was painted black last week). Unfortunately I have not yet been able to determine how many T-Top models were built but I have determined that the build date on this Camaro was August 5, 1991 which makes it one of the very first 92's produced since the new model year production always starts the first week of August. In fact, I believe it is #406 based on the last 5 digits of the VIN.
