Hey there GTO man here is nice a car that will be sold to highest bidder . I am a car dealer in south texas and we sell specialty cars when they come along from our area . i got this car from the local chevy dealer as a trade in . I don't know much about pontiacs but this one looks pretty honest to me . I did not restore it but i did add a few new trim pieces here and there . The car starts right up but it does puff a little smoke when it idles , the car drives , stops and steers great. The car looks great to me , i would say the paint is nice but not show quality however this car has had a lot of compliments so far . The interior is clean and neat with good factory type carpet and very nice panels and excellent headliner. the dash has a cover that you buy that covers a crack under there .The trunk is clean and does not show any rust ever in the quarter panels . The undercarriage is extremely clean . the motor compartment is ok but has obviously been chromed up .The car has an edelbrock intake and headers and holley carb,the motor has the code yj stamped on the front of the block with the letters 019773 above that , the heads have 5 c cast in them . the ac evaporator and condenser are there but the lines and compressor are missing. I have owned a lot of old cars and this is a pretty nice car , i have added a picture of the build tag and i am sure that the ebay experts will tell me what i have . I am asking 16500 at my car lot but i will take a lot less for a cash sale here on ebay any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 i think that you could fly in and drive it home but that is not a guarantee, there are no doudts some gauges and lites that don't work , the tires are very nice goodyears and they look great . I have been watching and this car should bring between 10 and 20 grand but it has been a long cold winter and it is not over yet so you can buy it now and sell it in the spring for a profit THEREIS AN ISSUE WITH THE CAR THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION < THE TITLE AND VIN NUMBER ON THIS CAR SAY THAT IT IS A 1971 but THE CAR APPEARS TO BE A 1972 , i think that it is a 1972 gto but that somewhere over the years has had a mistake on the title , or it is a 1971 lemans that has had a 1972 front end put on it . that is what i have and that is what you are getting do not bid if you have a problem with this issue .the vin number is 237371z11681
