For sale is a 2000 VW Jetta GLX with what is believed to be a bad engine valve. The car starts right up and runs, but all indications are that the engine will have to be replaced. Even though the Jetta has high mileage, it would still have plenty of miles left in it if you swapped out the engine, or could be stripped and provide many good parts. I would estimate that 80-90% of the miles have been highway commuting, so the car is still in nice condition, free of any rust (Virginia car), and shifts incredibly smooth. It is equipped with black leather interior, wood trim, power & heated front seats, monsoon sound system, 20% tint all around, aftermarket tail-lights and exhaust tips. It is also equipped with 17" alloy wheels and four 225/45/17 Cooper Zeon tires with about 75% tread remaining. Please remember, the Jetta does have 204k miles on it and is 11 years old, so it is going to reflect the age cosmetically (See pics of bumper scratches/chips), small crack in upper corner of windshield, as well as dent on rear driver side door. I would also add that it could use a new pair of front struts, as they have not been replaced in over 70k miles. Pick-up only, and feel free to come see the car prior to buying.
