Vehicle Detail
i am starting the initial auction price low but will not accept any price under $4000 i bought this car used in Sept 2010 in New Hampshire (far from big cities) from a dealer on consignment no warranty then or now and put just 5000 miles on it. (from 128K to 133K) in expectation of driving 200 mile trips from Maine to MA to NYC and back and forth monthly. Now settled into new job no need for as many highway trips as expected. Willing to sell. Excellent highway car, mileage was 32mpg on the on-board computer when I first bought it (never reset) and now I can get it up to 30mpg (it drops down when going 80mph but rises when you go 60mph). Strong car at 60-90+mph (which was why I bought it to replace my prior car) i am 4th owner. 1st was a lease vehicle up to 72K, then owners 2nd to 92K, 3rd to 128K, me to 133K. condition: excellent cosmetics (as seen in photos), exterior looks great all around, no visible rust, or marks. Interior shows some normal wear on seats but is intact everywhere. Smoke free car. Manual transmission. 5 speed. Upgrade stereo with small remote, another stereo (maybe original) is still in back. Spare tire rack missing one or two tool items (I never fully noticed it) but most are in the prefab slots. repairs on my watch: I have just replaced the ignition key cylinder and bought 2 new replacement keys from the factory in Germany. Inspected in Sept 2010 in Maine. problem: drivers side door panel loose, should be replaced either with a new panel or from a used car door; the rubber lining of door/windows shows some wear and tear and some interior windows condensation appears in certain weather. Door panel was repaired twice, with new wider clips in new positions along rim, but after normal door closings panel comes loose. Could live with this or repair. Was going to drill in plastic with self tapping screws to metal interior of door (without compromising window functionality of course, because if it is replaced it won't matter if there are some screw holes in plastic) but decided to let new owner decide whether to live with or fix this as new owner wishes. no snow tires, rear wheel drive i am starting the initial auction price low but will not accept any price under $4000
