Vehicle Detail

For sale is a super nice work truck. 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, This is the regular cab with the 8' bed. This truck has the Duramax Diesel, with Allison 5 speed automatic. With only 77,209 miles, this truck has a ton of life left. We currently use this as a pick up and delivery truck, but our needs have changed, and we are looking to down grade to a smaller gas truck like an S-10 or a Ranger for better fuel economy, and a long term savings because of it. Not that this truck does bad on fuel, its just over kill for the type of small loads we carry. This truck was repossesed at one point, and sold at auction, because of the auction the title was automatically branded salvage. I have gone through the PA enhanced inspection, it passed with flying colors, and Ive been driving it for the past 8 months. The title says reconstructed on it, but its only because it was sold at auction. It wasnt smashed and patched back together. Its one word on a piece of paper. The truck smokes when you first take off. You start it up, no smoke, let it warm up, no smoke, but when you start driving it smokes a little, but within say a 1/4 mile it clears up. I spent @ $2000 trying to get it fixed. There is a local diesel shop around the corner, he told me it was the turbo, well it wasnt. The he said it was the injector tubes. Wrong again. So now the truck has a brand new turbo and injector tubes and it still smokes when you first take off. I did a compression on all 8 cylinders, and every single cylinder IS within factory specs. Im not sure where the problem is, injector?? Not sure, but I recently bought a 2008 GMC 1500, so now im am done spending money on this Chevrolet. I had this truck listed before and the winning bidder emails me and says "sorry i thought it was 4x4" Come on, get serious, this is costing me money in ebay fees. If you dont have the money, or unsure about it, dont bid. Truck has 2 new batteries. This truck is solid, and 100% ready to work. The only thing I never got around to were the tires. The rears are the correct size, and do not have much time on them. The fronts however, are smaller that whats supposed to be on the truck, they still have plenty of tread, but the truck would sit more level with the correct tire size on the front. The body is in good condition, there are a few little dings here and there, but nothing major. The interior is also very clean, cloth seats with rubber floor. Also the bed has the nice Rhino liner! To be clear, this is 2WD, not 4x4. Overall a great truck that will be working for years to come. For questions, email or call me 717 968 0501.
