1985 XL350r, street legal, clean title, registration good through March of 2012! Runs great, all original and all there. 1985 is the year to have in these older XL's and XR's, and the 350 is extremely capable off road. I have an 85 XL600 and it can't keep up with this bike off road(my 600 just weighs too much to do or go the places this can). I took this bike out to our local motorcycle park(Metcalf in San Jose) last weekend and it flew through all the trails and courses, plenty of torque, no smoke, and I had no issues anywhere with it. It has a great combination of power to weight. This was the last year of the 350 for this line up, perhaps the best, and you won't see a lot of these going up for sale often, not in this condition on a no reserve auction. The XL350R was only made 2 years, 1984 and 1985. This bike has newer tires, new chain and starts easily(for a thumper). Cosmetically the tank has a dent on the top right(in pic) and a smaller one on the left, the seat shows wear and tear(main tear shown in pic) but is comfortable and functional. Low miles, still under 9K(8,801 miles). Lights, blinkers, brake lights all work. All of the plastic is in good condition with basic scratches and scuffs but no cracks. It's a 25 plus year old bike and shows less than normal wear and tear for a bike this age, it's unrestored and unmolested so this would be an easy restoration or keep it in its original condition and enjoy it in its vintage state. 1985 XL350R'85 facts It came in one color: Flash Red The Honda wing decal on the gas tank was red, white, and blue The "350R" tank decal was white and blue The seat and fork boots were blue The number plate panels were yellow The engine was a 339cc OHC RFVC single cylinder with 2 carburetors and 2 head pipes The transmission was a 6-speed The serial number began JH2ND030*FK100001. This bike is registered and titled in MY NAME, I bought it with intentions of restoring it but have too many projects, mainly a Yamaha RD400 that's taking up all my time and money. I want to emphasize the fact that I have a clean title, up to date registration in hand(Good through March of 2012). All you will have to do is transfer it to your name~! I will accept full payment through paypal, however if you do this, you will be responsible for paypal fees, which is 2.9%($29 per $1000). This particular bike will need to be picked up and paid for by Saturday 2-26-2011. If you can't do this, don't bid without contacting me prior. If you have a shipper for this bike, I will be happy to work with them, but you will be responsible for shipping.
