Vehicle Detail

2004 (Late Dec build), Cadillac CTS-V, 400HP. LS6 Corvette engine with Cadillac comfort and style. Black exterior with black interior. 89,700 miles. I have meticulous service records from the day it was purchased. Orig price off the lot was over 65K. Great car, very fast and handles like it is on rails. Top speed of 185 mph, if you want to go that fast. Click on the KBB link below to see all of the upgrades like 6 player cd, navigation, all power, etc. I bought the car from my dad about 3 months ago, he is getting too old to drive. He takes exceptional care of his vehicles. I can possibly help with transport of the car. Contact me with any questions. Also, my dad had a mechanic go through the vehicle prior to the warranty expiration. Cadillac replaced the faceplate of the navigation/stereo because the lettering was fading, some worn hoses and seals, the entire electrical system (there was probs with the driver seat heater and the stereo memory). The engine is very strong. There are two minor dings on the left rear quarterpanel from some careless person in a parkinglot. The car was always parked far away from everyone but somebody still got us. The shopping cart dings are approximately 1 inch in length but are very minor. You cannot see them unless you look very closely. Also, there is a slight wear/tear next to the driver's front seat, it is from the driver's rear end rubbing against this part of the interior when he would enter/exit the vehicle (very minor and can be easily fixed). Other than that the car is in excellent condition. There are very high end BF Goodrich tires on the car that cost $2300. There is about 40% left on the tires. I will get the details regarding these tires and add info soon. There will be more pics coming very soon. I put this car up for the 3 day auction. The reason for the sale is I am recovering from 2 spinal fusion surgeries within 1 year. The car is not practical for me anymore. I am somewhat disabled and need a SUV type car that enables me to get in and out easily and I need an automatic transmission as well to make driving easier for me. http://www.kbb.com/used-cars/cadillac/cts/2004/private-party-value/pricing-report?condition=excellent&id=2025&equipment=2840394%7ctrue%7c77217%7ctrue%7c77194%7ctrue%7c77179%7ctrue%7c77164%7ctrue&mileage=87000On Feb-15-11 at 12:00:31 PST, seller added the following information: This car is listed for sale, locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. On Feb-16-11 at 04:45:55 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to add some new info regarding the vehicle. I have only owned this vehicle for a short time as noted above and I am still learning a few things, now that I am trying to convey every detail of the vehicle for sale. My apologies for the late info but I want to be as detailed as possible so you are confident and happy with your bid. If this changes anything for any of the current bidders please contact me. The drivetrain and the differential were replaced under warranty in Jan of 2010. There was a knocking sound coming from the rear of the car and it was taken in for service. The work was performed by Reliable Cadillac in the Roseville Automall by authorized Cadillac service mechanics, all work was performed by Relaible Cadillac. There was a problem with the driver's side seat warmer and the memory function of the stereo. It was taken in for service at Reliable Cadillac and the entire electrical system was replaced under warranty. This includes the navigation, navigation screen, cd/dvd player, radio, and the electrical function that controls the seat warmer. Basically the entire electrical is tied together so they had to replace everything. My step dad also noticed that some of the lettering was fading on the faceplate of the control system (stereo, nav, cd/dvd area). Reliable Cadillac replaced this under warranty as well. I was misinformed about the value of the tires. The actual value of the BF Goodrich tires are approx $300 each. With mount, service, and warranty the total cost was $1800. The tires have 30 to 40 percent tread left. I have all of the maintenance records that will go with the vehicle. This car was maintained to perfection, garaged, washed once a week, and very well cared for. The power and handling on this car will knock your socks off. It is alot of fun to drive. You will not be disappointed. I will have a few more pics up this morning. Any questions, concerns, comments feel free to contact me. Thank you. On Feb-16-11 at 09:58:02 PST, seller added the following information: I referenced that the differential was replaced above, that is innaccurate. There was a broken bushing on the differential and it was replaced. (F2154 bushing). I have the maintenance records in case anyone needs to verify. The drivetrain was replaced under warranty as stated above, not the differential. On Feb-16-11 at 10:41:39 PST, seller added the following information: To be specific...The car made a clunking sound during acceleration. This was caused by a broken bushing (F2154). Bushing was removed and replaced. Test driven and set to specs by mechanic. Problem solved. The drivetrain/differential replacement was a simple bushing that was repaired/replaced. Sorry for any confusion as I was not present during the repair and I am not very familiar with automotive terms or the mechanics of an engine, This is why I take it in for service under warranty. I am simply going off the maintenance records. Any questions please contact me. Thank you.
