Vehicle Detail

KBB Values as of 2/13/11: Trade-In: $22,025, Private Party: $26,860, Retail: $29,110 This truck has the following add-ons/aftermarket equipment: SLT and Big Horn Edition package (original window sticker is available for winning bidder to view), SouthBend® Double-disk 3450 clutch, PacBrake® exhaust brake and onboard air compressor, FASS 200 GPH fuel pump and system, 3/8” dia marine rated fuel supply line and high flow PushLok fittings, all-aluminum intercooler, BD intercooler silicone hose couplings and high performance spring tension clamps ($250), Glacier Diesel chrome intake manifold, AFE intake filter AND prefilter, 8” turbo intake tube, SS condenser guard, leather interior, Dick Cepek M/T tires (NEW at 62k miles and knee-deep in tread!), HID fog lights with controllers, Delta diamond plate toolbox w/keys and interior lights + two TruckLite LED marker lights on the side, chrome nerf bars, polished/locking fuel door, back up camera (small monitor mounted discreetly above rear view mirror), diamond plate mud flaps and bed rails. This truck has NEVER had a hitch installed in the bed (no fifth wheel or gooseneck) but this is what I had intended on doing with it as I added these add-ons over the years—I just never made the switch and pulled my gooseneck hitch out of my Ford PowerStroke because I couldn’t bring myself to tow with my “new Dodge”. I am only the second owner (have owned since 12k miles) and this truck still has the factory Cummins warranty on the engine for another 35k miles!! It has never towed anything more than a 20’ 8k lb bumper-tow enclosed trailer since I’ve owned it, and it’s only towed that trailer 3 times before I began using the trailer for storage at my current residence (trailer was only registered for one year). This rust-free, Texas truck has been underlined and completely rustproofed with Line-X lifetime spray coating and has a spray in bedliner. Truck is currently straight piped and dumped out in front of the passenger side of the bed (I can’t help it, I love the rumble) but I do have the OEM catalytic converter (with only 12k miles on it and worth good money!) and OEM muffler that can go with it if the new owner wishes. Note that this truck also has the sliding rear window, front "mopar 'M' shaped" tow hooks, and clearance lights on the roof. The only exterior issues on this truck are a small dent down the passenger side of bed before/after the wheel well and also a small dent on the back part of the tailgate, passenger side. I'd say it's the most noticeable. Both are repaired, but recently happened when I left the tailgate down and backed into my PVC white corner fence post, and I didn't want to repair them prior to the new owner seeing it as-is because this is the ONLY body damage EVER sustained by this truck (CARFAX report will support this). The leather interior is nearly flawless and the original factory front floor mats are in VERY nice condition (just goes to show how I’ve cared for the truck). The only damage is a small tear at the back of the center console (shown in photo). The rear seats have almost never been used by me--I only used the back of the truck for storage (no kids and very rarely if ever haul people). This truck doesn’t get much use these days—I have 3 trucks (all less expensive than my Dodge) but I am being forced to sell it to cover the down payment on a house that I am purchasing very soon. I am serious about selling this truck and I have all receipts and maintenance records to back up anything you’d like more information on. I can also provide references to speak to how well the truck has been cared for. 2005 model year trucks are sought after for the high torque output engine with NO emissions equipment (engine will last forever, we all know) coupled with the LAST of the NV5600 iron-cased 6 speed transmissions, not to mention the impressive 4.10 gearing. I never thought I’d give this truck up (took me 2 years to find one that met all my requirements in the color that I wanted), but my financial situation gives me no choice. Priced below loan value and KBB private party and retail values. Please come check out this truck…she’ll speak for herself! Drives and handles amazing, have had many friends comment that it doesn't ride like a one ton...but the overload leafs are there if you ever need them. Please ask any questions you may have, I’d be happy to answer them. I welcome (and highly recommend) you come take a look at this truck in person before bidding so that you see how well it's been cared for. Email me for details. Thanks for looking! On Feb-13-11 at 19:28:26 PST, seller added the following information:This truck does have the cruise control on the steering wheel, as well as the stereo/CD player controls on the BACK side of the steering wheel. In addition, the truck has current Texas inspection for 2011 and also current Texas tags. As I do drive the vehicle about once a week to keep it in good operating condition, the mileage may continue to increase until it is sold. Thanks!!On Feb-14-11 at 08:01:48 PST, seller added the following information:There are NO performance boxes/chips/etc. on the truck nor have there been--this truck has been babied and cared for and has not been abused...you will see when you inspect it for yourself. The only modifications that I put on the truck were made to increase airflow to help keep the EGT low and let the engine breathe easy so as to prolong engine and drivetrain life. Thanks for the questions/interest!On Feb-14-11 at 19:49:19 PST, seller added the following information:I need to make one correction and add some additional information so that there are no surprises for the new owner. These are things that I want to be disclosed to the new owner but did not think of while typing up the ad on Sunday night. If any of the below information alters your feelings about the truck and you wish to retract your bid, please contact me via email. First, I mis-stated in the description that the dents/dings on the bed were "Both are repaired... ....I didn't want to repair them prior to the new owner seeing it as-is...". I meant to say that "Both are MINOR and have NOT been repaired". Next, one of the Dick Cepek tires was damaged beyond repair when I ripped a sidewall on a drain culvert ~2 months ago. Due to my local tire dealer not having any of these in stock when I brought in the rim, the right rear now has a ProComp mud terrain (tread design is very similar to the Dick Cepek's) and although no one has noticed it, it's there. The original BFG All Terrain spare tire is under the truck as you'd expect and has only been used once for a short time that I can recall. Lastly, the driver's side rear door lock stopped working (noticed just the other day when removing something from the back seat) and I've not been able to determine why as of yet. I thought it was the child safety lock that I may have bumped while cleaning the truck, but no such luck as far as I can tell. If there's anything else, no matter how minor, that I can think of, I will update this as necessary. Thanks for all of the interest! On Feb-15-11 at 19:22:54 PST, seller added the following information:It appears that eBay will not allow me to add any additional photos, so please email me if you'd like to see photos of the engine compartment and bed (or anything else on the truck). In cleaning out my personal belongings this evening, I have some more observations (these are the last) that I'd like to share so that there are absolutely no surprises for the new owner on Sunday. Although the truck came with factory front floor mats (per the original window sticker), it does not mention rear. I never received any rear floor mats or jack when I purchased the truck; therefore, they won't be included in this sale. Also, I saved the factory fuel door (in case the new owner wants to reinstall it) so it will be included with the truck. I installed the $110 locking door only for security purposes. Lastly, all owner/operator manuals that I have for the accessories on the truck (FASS 200, Glacier intake, PacBrake, Linex undercoating and fuel door receipt, Lifetime AFE air filter, HID foglights, etc.) will be provided to the new owner ALONG with a copy of the original window sticker. Also forgot to mention a Draw-Tite brake controller is installed and included. Thanks and best of luck!On Feb-18-11 at 17:32:11 PST, seller added the following information:Adding some more details and answering some questions that are coming up: The truck does NOT smoke at all....not under acceleration, not under idle, and not if cold started (even without block heater plugged in while 9 degrees outside). The winning bidder is welcome to see the truck start cold after sitting for the past 4-5 days. I will provide the winning bidder with 2 remotes, 3 keys, 4 toolbox keys, 2 fuel door keys, and a copy of the original window sticker. In addition, the truck also has installed a "Night Light" halogen back up light (on only when truck is in reverse) to improve visibility. If the winning bidder wishes (and I would prefer it this way to avoid Paypal fees), the down payment and/or final purchase price can be bank wire transferred to me. The down payment could also be paid via an overnighted Money Order. The truck will be available for pickup as soon as the auction ends and the purchase price is paid in full. The interior is clean and I will try to have the truck washed for the new owner as long as the forecast is clear (currently showing spotty showers for Sunday). Lastly, the closest airport is the Dallas-Fort Worth airport (about an hour south of me) and I'd be happy to deliver the truck to the airport for the price of fuel (for the truck AND the car that will bring me back home!).
