1986 Jeep CJ-7. Bought for my farm but have concluded a UTV will be more practical around here. I bought this Jeep in East Tennessee who used it for fly fish guide tours he did on weekends. I drove it back from his house when I bought it (about 3 or 4 months ago and it was about and hour and half drive) without any issues. It has the typical Jeep sway in the steering but runs good. Typical small valve cover leak and other typical Jeep leaks but overall seems to be good running Jeep. The tub has been replaced and it has a full fiberglass tub. The frame has some pits and typical rust for these years. As soon as I got it I had the guy that welds a lot for me at the farm weld some reinforcements on frame just to make me feel better and I think it should serve someone ok for years to come. No tire kickers here Im pricing the Jeep accordingly and its an as/is where is buy. I have driven all around the farm and back and forth to the store and town a time or ten since Ive had and its seems too do fine. Its a bit cold natured (maybe worth adding a manual choke) but pump the gas 8 to 10 times and it has fired even on the coldest of days. Odometer and speedometer appear to be working fine but gas and temperature gauge do not as is very typical on these old jeeps. I Believe voltage and oil pressure guage do work though. You can see it has one wrinkled fender and I have a replacement one to go on that will go with but I will not put it on. Does have a CD Player and rear seat. This is your typical old jeep with some showing of its years but should make someone a good jeep. I have the Tennesee title in hand and open for you once cash in hand.
