OK Ladies and Gents, 1999 Saab 9-3 convertible for sale w/150k. 5 spd, Silver w/ black leather interior. Drives like its new. I have owned the car for 6 years and it has always been maintained by 'the swedish car service', the best Saab Shop around in NJ. The previous 2 owners were both DRs, one buying it from his friend while both were in medical school. When purchasing it 6 years ago I was told it had been dealer maintained up to that point. Turbo is in great shape, the Direct Ignition Coil Pack (including all plugs) were replaced approx 15k miles ago, it had a Viggen clutch installed @ 100k and has TONS of life left, front shocks and struts installed 25k ago, and just had the radiator fan motor, thermostat, and a few vacuum hoses replaced last week ($600). Tires have at least 75%+ life left on them. The convertible top is also functional and is in great shape although the switch sticks a little, and you just have to repress the switch (mostly when its <50*). GREAT GAS MILEAGE, 26-27 MPG in a quick car!! The body has some dings. Rear bumper has very slight impression w/paint starting to chip. Information Display (SID) has some pixels out (tells mpg/time of day), driver seat is torn/worn, pass seat has tiny 1" tear (you can get seats on ebay ~$100), the arm rest is loose, the SRS light is on, the AC blower motor needs a new resistor (I bought this part and it may be changed before listing ends), and I believe it may need a left control arm; at times there is a sound coming from the arm, although it doesn't affect performance. ($70 part). The top also has a VERY minor leak where it meets the side door. There may be a few other MINOR cosmetic issues with interior. Although the shift knob is shown with the leather off in the photos, I have replaced with a new stock knob. This car is really in much better shape than im making it sound, I just want to be entirely fair and upfront. Just looking to find it a new home quick. BOTTOM LINE: Although it has a few MINOR issues, and the interior is a little worn, I have always kept this car in great running condition, and my SAAB mech who used to be a master tech at a dealer says it should go for another 100k easy. If youre looking for a Saab you can get right in and use as daily driver you can count on this one. GREAT LOW PRICE ON A 5 SPEED CONVERTIBLE SPORTS CAR...
