Hi, I'm selling my 1985 AMC Jeep CJ7. This is a great jeep, it is good looking and it runs great. The jeep has a straight 6 cylinder 258 4.2 liter motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. The motor runs great, the transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding or slipping and the clutch is good too. The jeep's transfer case works good making it a breeze to put in 4wd hi or low and back into 2wd. The front hubs are manual lockouts. The jeep drives down the road real nice without any pull. The tires on the jeep are goodyear all terrain 31x10.5x15 with 85% tread on them, they are mounted on real nice looking wheels. The jeep is very versatile on how you can cruise. The jeep come with a bestop softop and doors that are in excellent condition. These doors are very easily converted into half doors if you prefer that. The top and doors are very easily removed from the jeep to turn it into a convertable. The jeep also comes with a bestop bikini top. There is a pioneer am/fm radio with cd player installed in the jeep. The jeep has a rear seat with seatbelts in the back. A seem did come loose in the rear seat and spread a few inches, its taped right now but could easily be stitched back up. The paint on the jeep looks great, there is a couple small paint cracks that arent noticeable til you get up close and could easily be repaired. The previous owner had the jeep painted and had some other work done to it, when he did this he replaced the old speedometer/odometer with a brand new one. The jeep now reads 986 miles so Im posting the jeep as TMU. He told me there was 70,000 miles on the jeep when this was done. There is also a crack in the passenger mirror that should be fixed.
