Vehicle Detail
This 1995 Ford Escort has had only 2 owners. We bought it from the original owner in 2002, at 12,194 miles. In 2008, at 107,361 miles, we replaced the engine with a rebuilt one. Since then, it has been driven 27,964 miles. It is very clean and the the oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. The A/C blows cold and it has excellent tires. It has never been in a wreck but in 2005, a tree limb fell on it during a thunderstorm, requiring repairs to the roof only. The body and interior are in fair condition. The body has numerous dings and scratches and the interior has typical wear and tear for a car this age. There are also some moisture marks on the interior ceiling from rain leakage (see pictures). The most recent repairs were done in November, 2010: New Fuel Pump New Fuel Filter New Timing Belt New Serpentine Belt New Drive Belt Tensioner We have primarily used one mechanic over the years, and would be happy to put you in touch with him to answer any questions (we also have most of the maintenance records). We are selling the car because we recently found out it needs all new power-steering hoses. We decided to stop repairing it and purchase a newer car, instead. Full payment must be made and title must be transferred before buyer can take possession. The title office is just a few blocks away and open Monday thru Friday. Call Jimmie at 469-878-7260 or email him at hughesjimmie@yahoo.comOn Feb-13-11 at 19:49:19 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: The reason the power-steering hoses need to be replaced is because they are leaking fluid. The car is drivable, but the hoses should be replaced as soon as possible.
