For auction is a vintage BMW R50/2. This bike will need a complete restoration inside and out. I was going to restore the bike myself but have lacked the time and resources needed. The tank is completely clean and was drained before sitting and is not bolted down. I was going to buy a solo seat for it which is why the wide style schorsch meier seat that is currently sitting on it but not bolted down. Also comes with rare original side luggage that will need to be cleaned up. This bike is not perfect and will need a restoration however it is a good canadite as all the parts are there. The bike is being sold as is without a warranty since I am not a dealer. So there is still hope... The bags will be sold with the bike no matter what, I can not part them from the bike even if it does not meet reserve. The title is clear, the engine and frame numbers match, the carbs are the original bing ones for the bike. Selling because I have too many projects...On Feb-17-11 at 03:51:56 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention that the bike also has a rear taillight housing that resembles the condition of the bike and a used wiring harness I bought off eBay, also comes with weird stock seat with light at the end of it and a custom front fairing that was made for it.
