Up for auction i have my 1999 Porsche Boxster This car is in great shape considering its 12+ years old. Very low mileage. under 54,000 miles Body: Body and paint is in excellent shape for its age. Some minor very small dents and scratches expected for a 12 year old car There is no rust or rot anywhere on the car. Head lights are clear and haze free Top: Top is in excellent condition and is believed to be original. No yellowing of rear window. Automatic operation is flawless with no issues No tears or holes Tires and wheels: Aftermarket Porsche wheels with 18 inch Continental tires that have plenty of tread. Wheels are near perfect with no chipping or curb rash. Powdercoated silver to match the exterior of the car Engine and transmission: The flat six engine and Tiptronic trans work perfectly No skipping bucking or wierd noises No IMS bearing noise I am told the trans does need an indicator switch because the gear indictor flashes on "D" instead of being on steady This switch is external to the transmission and has no affect on the way it operates. Interior: The interior is near flawless with nice undamaged leather seats. Aftermarket stereo replaces the stock unit. Rear shelf speakers have been added and are genuine porsche parts. Carpets are clean and rip free. Never smoked in or been wet. There are a couple of known problems with this car but overall it is in excellent shape. 1. Transmission switch needs to be replaced 2. Outside temp. gauge reads wrong. probably a sensor. 3. The window tint does not pass MA inspection. Too dark Please feel free to contact me about anything involving this great car. Inspections are welcomed and reccommended I feel I am being very upfront on this car but everyones standards are different. There is a Factory Outdoor cover and a Factory service manual with the car. I do have soem reciepts from previous work that has been performed on the car. I have a clear MA title in hand.
