In 1986, Porsche updated the North American 928 S, replacing the 4.7 L, SOHC engine with a new 5.0 L, DOHC unit sporting 32 Valves (4 valves per cylinder) and producing 288 hp. These cars are sometimes unofficially called S3 to distinguish them from 16-valve S models. That same year, Porsche revised suspension settings, added larger brakes with 4-piston calipers and modified exhaust on the 928 S, marking the final changes to first generation body style cars. We have the Original Window Sticker on this car from Porsche, showing an MSRP of $54,626! Options included an all leather interior, heated seats right and left, larger radiator, protective side moldings, and rear air conditioning. The interior is fantastic as well and it is gray with a slight hint of green. The combination is very pleasing visually and since it has always been garaged and out of the sun, there are no cracks or fades in color. This car has been serviced and fully checked in our service department. Recent timing belt service also. We know the entire history of this car and have documentation on the mileage. Obviously, it has been a "weekend" driver all it's life. It was originally sold new to a gentleman in Texas and he owned the car until recently when it was sold to a gentleman here in North Carolina.
