I have for sale a very nice 1968 Camaro body. This car is VERY solid. The floors are very solid with minimal surface rust. The trunk floor has minor surface rust. I would plan on replacing the quarters with skins only ($75 a side) these are very easy to do and very inexpensive to buy. There is also some rust at the base of the windshield, where the windshield meets the dash, VERY EASY fixed and you can never tell it was repaired. The roof is very solid and straight. Around the windows front and rear is solid besides about 3" at the bottom of the rear window, it needs to be patched and it would be perfect. VERY easily repaired. I figured I would tell you about all the areas with issues first. The cowl is in very nice shape with NO rust on the firewall or at the base of either side. The doors are in nice shape with a little rust at the corners. This can be patched and would not be a big deal, they are NOT rusted through to the inside. The fenders are in good shape with no rust on them but someone at one point tried to smooth the bodyline between the fender and the fender extension and didn't do a good job, the bondo is cracked out on both sides. Not a big deal just something worth mentioning. I have all the chrome trim for the front and rear windows, on top of the doors, and the driprail moldings. All this chrome is in great shape and is VERY useable. I also have the front and rear bumpers and all the bumper brackets. I have all the seats front and rear. They all need to be recovered but the frames are in good shape. I forgot to take a picture of the seats but I can if you would like. The car was originally a four speed car and still has the clutch pedal installed in the car. I have both of the door glass which are useable and are still installed in the doors. I don't have any of the other glass for the car. I have all the seatbelts and the wireing harness and a LOT of other misc. stuff that goes with the car. The car has a set of weld Draglites installed with 15x8 rears and 15x6 fronts which are included in the auction. Also included is a BRAND new, never installed, Goodmark steel bolt on 4" cowl hood. I also have a Brand new grill and all the OEM trim pieces to completely install the grill as well as all the headlights and adjusting and mounting hardware. The rear end has multi-leaf springs with a 10 bolt rear end installed, I don't know what gears are in it. All the inner and outer wheel houses are in VERY nice shape with NO rust. VERY useable. The front subframe has been completely rebuilt with all new polyurethane bushings installed throughout and all new tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, and it has been installed with new rubber body bushings. Also I have the tranny crossmember. I do not have a motor or tranny for this car. I also do not have the title for the car. The guy I bought the car from says he had it, but can not find it. I will sell it with a bill of sale only. I can give you the guys # and maybe you can get him to find it. I have the papers to send off for a bonded title. It is not really that big of deal some states don't require a title on cars of this age. Please ask all questions before bidding and please have the funds before bidding. Also, the front subframe was sandblasted and painted when it was rebuilt. It is very clean. The rear frame rails are in very nice shape with no rust in them at all. Thanks and good luck.
