I have for sale a ford escort ZX2 thats a 2002. This one runs and drives. I would like to state that I just bought this and cannot say much about it. I bought this with the intent of using this as my commuter to work, but was informed the morning after I bought this that I was getting deployed to very soon to Afghanistan. That being said I will say what I do know about the car. I bought this car locally and liked the car. Its pretty fast and responsive and runs good. The only thing that I noticed mechanically is that off is that its idle is a bit rough. I changed the spark plugs and put a new air filter in but this didn't change anything. It does run and drive good though. I was told the ac blows cold but only out of one vent. Its been too cold for me to verify that. This car had been parked for quite some time and I had alot of cleaning on it to do. The good thing about it getting parked for such a long time was that it kept its low miles. The previous owner was a smoker so it did maintain some of that smell although I have been able to get rid of most of it. The cars paint is a single stage paint that could use some polishing and waxing. The hood is aftermarket so I would guess that when the hood was changed that the paint was done. The car is straight and runs and drives. It seems to be a great car that should last for years. I wish I could keep it but I will be out of the country for a long time so it doesn't make sense for me to keep it. I have the title in hand and this one is ready to go!
