I have owned this truck for over 20 years and recently did a frame off restoration and conversion. The truck is painted in Candy Apple Mettalic Red paint. It has a rebuillt 400 small block with less than 5k on engine and it is bored .030 with forged flat top pistons 9.6.1 ( great with pump gas) it has corvette heads and Edelbrock performer manifold and Edelbrock Carb. Chrome headers to dual exhaust to a flowmaster 50 series. It is a 5 spd manual ( T5 Borg warner world class which is very strong and rare) This engine has about as much displacement as a 427 with over 150 lbs less weight. It has a Camaro Z28 front clip and Camaro 10 bolt posi rear end with POWER 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES. They have saved me several times... Power steering. Front and rear anti sway bars. The Frame was sandblasted and powder coated with por 15 and is tough as nails. It has all brand new wiring and fuse box and guages from TPI. All the rubber is new and the carpet and is new with used leather bucket seats ( one has a small rip on drivers side it is about 2 inches and can easily be fixed) It has a brand new electic wiper motor. The bed is just painted plywood. It has shaved door handles with manual access. The heater was removed but can be reinstalled i was going to a underdash system with a/c but never got to it. It has 15inch American racing aluminum wheels. I have completly gone through this truck from bumper to bumper and oh yah those are new too. THis is a DRIVERS truck it is fast and corners great. The engine sounds fierce and It will get your heart moving unlike a standard 350 with an automatic. You can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig. My truck gets noticed and always draws a crowd and babes but is a driver not a perfect trailer queen. I did not paint the firewall instead i coated it with por 15 and the front fender panels. The paint has a few minor scratches and dings because I always intended the truck to be a driver not have to worry about parking lot dings etc. I don't want to come to far down off my price because I have seen what is out there and upgrade for upgrade my truck stands with other trucks that cost twice as much and by the way they are worth it. If you calculate all the time and money it takes to put one of these togethor than trying to lowball me would seem crazy. I am a little negotiable. for instance if I don't have to install a headliner and other small items I would be will to come down a few bucks. Please no trades... I am reluctant to work with someone out of state but you can hire people to come out and look at the truck for you or if you set a time with a local mechanic shop i can take in there but I dont want to hold everyone up waiting for someone to catch a flight.
