Vehicle Detail

Vehicle Description 1987 Slantnose 930S Turbo Porsche, Collectors Car.. Great condition.. Low miles since new.. I purchased this 3.3 L Flat 6 Cylinder beauty 11 years ago.. Sold new for 97,000... I feel it truly is a collectors dream.. I only have driven it on sunny days...otherwise it is parked in the garage with its cover on.. It has a rare Silver Blue Color with Tan interior.. Has the original floor mats.. It is the type of car that is only appreciating in value.. I now want to buy another vintage car and the wife says that this has to go before I can do that.. So here is a car of ones dreams.. They say this is a 2nd gear car all day and the reason is the range of miles per hour and the turbo effect is so great that only do you need the other gears if your just cruising on the freeway.. It is a 5 speed manual transmission.. 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera TURBO 930 Slope Nose. The car has damage to the left rear quarter panel the car has not been driven since 2005 since this happend i keep on saying im going to fix it and time keeps passing noow im going to part with it finally.. The car runs and drives This is not a Factory Slantnose, but it was done in California, buy a Professional team of Porsche men with a factory Slantnose, steel from an original car that was factory built.. It is what it is.. It was painted when the work was done. You have to see it to appreciate the type of car it is.. It says much about Porsche engineers that they kept finding ways to enhance the 911, a car many thought was already quite good back in 1964. If nothing else, the steady stream of improvement testified to how well the basic concept could be adapted to new realities that Porsche couldn't have possibly foreseen more than 20 years before. In 1987, Porsche debuted a new slantnose body that clearly resembled the 935 racecar and the rare flachtbau, or flatnose-modified bodies of Porsche engineer Rolf Sprenger. Dubbed the 930S, the new model was essentially a turbocharged premium upgrade from the base 911, one that cost an astounding $23,244 extra that included retractable headlights and an assortment of functional vents that aided in engine and brake cooling, the 930S slantnose offered a sleek profile that became an icon of late 1980s styling. Installed options include A/C (needs to be serviced), sunroof, ABS, power windows, locks, seats, roof and mirrors.
