Here is a very nice Caprice Classic Station Wagon with 135K miles on it. It is a family vehicle that is not needed any longer and we need the space in the garage. The car is drivavle and was used to make hour trips around the Detroit area. This vehicle is in the family since 1990. It has had meticulous mechanical care during its life. Since the photos were taken, the items around the car are cleared out. The details are shown in the following: Drive Train Heavy duty suspension package and cooling package. Engine is original. Transmission was rebuilt once. It is the really small GM 4 speed. The carburator was rebuilt about 2 years ago due to really bad gas milage. The battery is new, and we have it on a trickle charger due to it not being driven much. Brakes may be rusting up due to sitting, but they still work. The smoke in the picture is the normal warmup fog from a cold start in December. The cooling system is fine. Body There is rust on some of the fenders and quarters due to its life in Michigan. The glass is in very good condition. Has a chrome roof rack. Still has the emblem on the hood. Rear tailgate hinges are loose and you have to open it slowly. Interior Probably the best feature of the car. Medium blue. Back end had a mat ontop of the carpet so the cargo area is in good shape. Vehcle tile is in hand and clear. There will be no plates on the vehicle when you come to pick it up, so be prepared with temporary tags when you pick it up. The vehicle has not been driven regularly for several months. It is recommended that the vehicle be towed or trailered from its residential storage. It can be driven around for short trips of say 10-20 miles. Sold as is, where is.
