Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4X4. Black exterior with Tan Leather Interior. Great condition & Clean CARFAX report! 79,522 original miles. I have the ORIGINAL build sheet for this Jeep. I purchased this Jeep in April 2009 with 71,751 miles as the third owner & I hold the clear title. This Jeep Cherokee has the 4-wheel drive transfer case with FULL-TIME 4-wheel drive available for use. Most of the 99+% of Cherokee's out there are stripped down Sports with the part-time only 4-wheel drive transfer cases. There is a big difference. This Jeep Cherokee has the legendary 4.0L straight 6-cylinder engine that will run for a very long time if serviced properly. When I was much younger my family purchased a new 1987 Jeep Cherokee with this same engine and drove it for 15 years and put 214,000 miles on it before selling it to the mechanic! My Jeep has not only a very desireable color combination, but also many years of good use remaining! I planned on keeping this Jeep much longer but am in need of a larger vehicle. This Jeep is the third vehicle in our 2-adult driver household. This is why I have only put about 8000 miles on it in nearly 2 years. This Jeep has cruise control, AM/FM Stereo with single disc CD & cassette player with factory Infinity speakers & amplifier under the rear bench seat, overhead console w/ compass & trip computer, & Reese hitch. Special Bonus I will include is my Sirius Satellite Mirge Receiver w/ remote control & Weather Tech front floorliners. I have had the following work completed on my Jeep since I purchased it and have all of the documentation and service records: New front brake rotors & pads, new Rancho RS 5000 shocks @ all 4 corners, new HD front steering stabilizer, new exhaust system including catalytic converter (great rich sound & not obnoxious), new K&N Cold-Air Intake system (helps great engine breathe better), new valve cover gasket, complete transmission flush, complete cooling system flush & 4 oil & filter changes. I have not taken this Jeep off of the street for off-road use. If I had to take an educated guess, neither did the previous 2 owners. This is a limited model, with all of the creature comforts and bells & whistles (for a Jeep). We get a limited amount of snow here in the southern tip of Indiana, but I can tell you first hand that this Jeep is fantastic in a foot of snow! That was winter of 2009 for us here. I have put signifacantly more money into this Jeep than I will ever get back out of it, since I am now selling it. When I purchased this Jeep in April 2009 it had a few areas with cosmetic scratches & nicks (paint chips) that are quite normal for a car of 9 years. While none of these cosmetic scratches affected the performance of my Jeep, I really wanted to "sharpen up" the already classic look of my Cherokee. I went to 3 different professional paint & restoration shops in my area and decided to go with a shop with over 35 years of experience (not combined experience). The owner of 35 years had tried to talk me OUT of spending too much money because he said that I would never get my money back from the work, unless I kept the Jeep for myself. While I understood what he was saying, I decided to go ahead and have 5 areas of my Jeep restored and re-finished. There was no body work necessary on these areas, just professional paint restoration. You will seen in the pictures for yourself! I get countless comments on how extremely nice this 2000 Jeep looks. BTW- It runs great too and I will get into that shortly. I had the following 5 areas of my Jeep professionally restored and refinished: front bumper, front nose (surrounding chrome grille), hood, rear tailgate & rear bumper. This came at a cost to me of $1500 & have the documentation and work order (June 2009) to prove it. The sides of this Jeep still have some scratches and nicks that are to be expected of now a nearly 11 year old vehicle. While I had thoughts of doing a complete restoration, I decided to cut myself off and stop pouring money into my Jeep. This Jeep is just fine the way it is. It runs great for its age, more like a 5-6 year old vehicle than nearly 11 years! The new exhaust & K&N Cold-Air Intake really help this great engine breathe much better. I have had experience with shipping a few vehicles for myself and family members and would be glad to assist with this process to the new owner of this Jeep, if applicable. I am aware of the market for these specific Jeep models and will be selling mine for a very fair price! My reserve price is very reasonable for the overall condition of this Jeep. Full Size Original spare wheel & tire included (never used). Best of luck with the bidding! No trades and I will only sell this Jeep within the continental U.S. I have numerous additional pictures but chose to start my listing with ebay's 24-picture pack. Check my ebay feedback rating of 100%. Pleae feel free to contact me via phone @ (812) 490-5556 or e-mail to trevian911@gmail.com.
