1991 GRAND MARQUIS COLONY PARK LS Family Truxter! ONE PREVIOUS OWNER! I'd like to introduce you to "Griswold". That's what my kids named him. Yes, we name all of our cars, don't you? The Mercury Colony Park LS was the TOP-OF-THE-LINE full size wagon offered by Mercury from 1957-1991. You are looking at the last in a long line of classic wagons. They don't make them like this anymore folks! The wagon you see here was ordered new by an elderly couple who traded their '87 Country Squire. The old man was a fan of the big Ford Wagon and knew that production was ending. The amount of documentation that goes with this car is amazing. All correspondence with Ford Motor Company including letters thanking them for their purchase, complete service history, window sticker, trade-in information, original manuals, recall documents etc etc. If you are looking for a classic wagon to collect, you won't find a better value. It is a very useable car that runs and drives like new. Now 20 years old, it qualifies for classic car insurance which is very inexpensive! It is loaded with all the bells and whistles including auto-leveling suspension, leather seating, power windows, locks, doors, cruise, tilt, twilight auto headlamps, great sounding premium sound system with working cassette, power driver's seat and more. As you can see from the pictures, the car is in remarkable condition. The leather interior is GORGEOUS and the the headliner and visors show like new. The rear seats fold out of the floor and look as though they have never been sat in. This car can transport 8 adults and your dog in comfort! The wood paneling is not perfect but overall decent for the age. The car has brand new tires, radiator, water pump etc. The A/C blows ICE COLD. I have been using the vehicle as primary transportation for 7 months and it has run flawlessly. I believe this is a vehicle you can drive anywhere with confidence. It really is like driving around in your Den! The only thing I can fault is the window regulators which are an issue on all Ford vehicles.. They still work... most of the time. The odometer has stopped working. Other than one spot on the bottom of the passenger door the car is rust free. I have seen 25MPG on the highway with this vehicle.
